The Division offers a complete range of services related to the management of pregnancies from normal to highest risk. It is a key component of the hospital's state-designed Level III perinatal center. Particular expertise is available in obstetrical emergencies and complications, such as premature rupture of membranes or premature labor, multiple gestation, intrauterine growth retardation, third-trimester bleeding, postmaturity, severe preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders, and infectious diseases.A multidisciplinary approach is used for the management of complicated pregnancies such as those involving HIV infection, diabetes, hypertension, RH sensitization, and vascular disease.
