The Women’s Wellness Center offers consultative and ongoing primary care for women, ages 16 and up. The Center provides holistic care with special attention to psychosocial needs and the unique stresses placed on women. Ongoing care of medical disorders such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and heart disease is provided as well as health maintenance and preventive services. Office gynecology, family planning, and menopause counseling and treatment are available from an all-female staff. In addition, a special grant through the New Jersey State Department of Health provides free breast exams, mammography, and pap smears to qualified women over 50 years of age.
