The division offers consultation in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases of all types. Particular expertise is available in the consideration of out-of-country travel and the occurrence of parasitic and unusual infections as well as sexually transmitted infections. Other areas of interest to the division are chronic infections and fevers, tuberculosis, the administration and management of antibiotics, innoculation and immunization, and the diagnosis and treatment of HIV and AIDS-related problems.
