The Podiatry Service provides comprehensive, convenient and expert podiatric care for adults and children. Medical and surgical treatment is directed to disorders affecting the foot and ankle including bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, corns/calluses, ingrown toenails, warts, and foot and ankle trauma. Surgery is performed at the Doctors Office Center and at University Hospital. Consultation is offered for difficult cases and is provided to all services at the hospital. Particular expertise is available in the treatment of the diabetic foot. The Service offers a Diabetes Specialty Foot Practice, which includes the services of a Certified Diabetes Educator.
