Pediatrics - Lead Poisoning Program

The Lead Poisoning program at University Hospital was one of the first programs in the nation to address the health problems associated with lead contamination. University Hospital is the organizer of a state-wide consortium that provides continuing education for providers of care to lead poisoned individuals.

Dr. Marcus is the only individual in New Jersey board certified in both pediatrics and medical toxicology. University Hospital provides consultative and treatment services for children and adults identified as being lead poisoned.
