The Scoliosis Association, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer non-medical organization. Since 1974, we have been helping those with scoliosis by providing information and having support groups and information lines.

American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons
The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons provides education and practice management services for orthopaedic surgeons and allied health professionals. The Academy also serves as an advocate for improved patient care and informs the public about the science of orthopaedics. Founded at Northwestern University as a not-for-profit organization in 1933, the Academy has grown from a small organization serving less than 500 members to the world's largest medical association of musculoskeletal specialists. The Academy now serves about 24,000 members internationally.

Scoliosis Research Society
The Scoliosis Research Society is a professional organization, made up of physicians and allied health personnel. Our primary focus is on providing continuing medical education for health care professionals and on funding/supporting research in spinal deformities. Founded in 1966, the SRS has gained recognition as one of the world's premier spine societies. Strict membership criteria ensure that the individual Fellows support that commitment. Current membership includes over 800 of the world's leading spine surgeons as well as some researchers, physician assistants and orthotists who are involved in research and treatment of spinal deformities.
