Breast Augmentation

Breast implant surgery has received more press coverage then any other plastic surgical procedure during the last decade.

Many research studies and the FDA panels have since concluded that implants are safe. In addition, the implant industry vastly improved the quality of the implants. Both saline and silicone implants can be used.

Implants are used to enhance small breasts, or lift breasts drooping from childbearing/feeding and/or age. Incisions are usually hidden under the breast, in the underarm area or around the nipple to minimize scarring. After the surgery, many patients return to work after approximately a week.

Breast Reduction & Minimal Scar Breast Reduction

For many women, overly large breasts are embarrassing and worrisome. For others, they can cause problems with back and shoulder aches, and other complications. This procedure is designed to help alleviate those worries and medical issues.

Incisions, in most cases, are made around the nipple down to the chest wall, and horizontally under the breast to allow for the removal of the breast tissue and skin. Usually, patients are back to work within a week following the surgery.

Minimal scar breast reduction is also available. This procedure is performed through half inch incision under the breast. Recovery is even faster after this surgery.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)

There are few things more embarrassing for a man than to have enlarged, feminized breasts (gynecomastia). Most men with this condition avoid swimming and other sporting activities where their deformity can be easily seen. Fortunately, it is now relatively easy to achieve normal looking male breasts using minimal incisions. A combination of liposuction and direct removal of the excess tissue can correct most cases of gynecomastia.

Breast Lift

Breastlift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts. It's important to understand that no surgery can permanently defy the effects of gravity. Breast lift can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. If your breasts are small or have lost volume--for example, after pregnancy or gastric bypass surgery, firmness and size can be increased with implants.
