Initial consult for cosmetic surgery are free.

Depending on the procedure, the insurance carrier, and the individual situation, we may accept some forms of insurance. Please inquire at the initial consult if you have questions regarding our payment policies.

If insurance is not accepted, a $500 deposit is required at the time of scheduling surgery. Full payment is expected from the patient 2 weeks prior to surgery. Payments must be made in cash, credit card, or by certified check. Personal checks are not excepted. Finance plans are accepted. As many as 20 percent of cosmetic surgery patients request secondary revisions. Costs associated with revision surgery are at the patients expense. Patients are required to purchase a preoperative insurance policy ($135) to cover any cost associated with additional unplanned medical care. The state of NJ levies a 6% tax on all cosmetic surgery services.

Please note: All surgeries done at the University Cosmetic Surgery Center are done by board-certified and licensed surgeons. We regret that cannot provide, nor do we endorse, surgeries performed by unlicensed surgeons or medical students at reduced rates. We encourage all surgical candidates to seek treatment from licensed and experienced surgeons. For guidance on selecting a surgeon, please click here.
