The PALS course objective is to aid the student in the synthesis of new and prior knowledge/skills toward the safe care of the pre-arrest and arrest patients. Written and practical assessments are made. A PALS card will be awarded to each successful participant.

It is required that your BLS Health Care Provider certifications be current to register for this course. Course tuition is $260.00 for non-employees of The University Hospital. Any registrant who is employed full-time at The University Hospital will be charged $160.00. Nurses, Residents, and Fellows are not required to pay a tuition fee. Any "No-Shows" will be charged a $80.00 administration fee. This course is offered by The University Hospital Training Center in cooperation with the American Heart Association. Fees charged do not represent revenue to the AHA or its affiliates.
