At the conclusion of the course, instructor candidates will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and skills:

  • How to make effective presentations of PALS information and materials
  • How to function as the leader and participant in all components of an PALS provider course
  • Setting up and using the educational presenatation tools
  • How to create, present and lead the PALS teaching modules
  • An understanding of the educational philosophy of the PALS program

Course Prerequisites

  • Current CPR for Health Care Providers certificate
  • Current PALS provider certification
  • A sponsorship letter from your department

The fee for this Instructor course is $100.00 for UH residents, $175.00 for employees and $275.00 for non-employees.
