The PALS course objective is to aid the student in the synthesis of new and prior knowledge/skills toward the safe care of the pre-arrest and arrest patients. Written and practical assessments are made. A PALS course completion card will be awarded to each successful participant.

It is required that both PALS and BLS Health Care Provider certifications be current to register for this course. Course tuition is $150.00 for employees of Christ Hospital ONLY whom borrow the course material from the Christ Hospital Education Department, and $175.00 ($185.00 after May 1, 2012) for those whom wish to purchase course material on their own. Any "No-Shows" will be charged a $80.00 administration fee. This course is offered by The University Hospital Training Center in cooperation with the American Heart Association.
