Asha Bale, MD, is an assistant professor of surgery at
the New Jersey Medical School and Director of the Center
for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Videosurgery at University
Hospital. A 1995 graduate of the New Jersey Medical School,
Dr. Bale also completed her residency at the New Jersey
Medical School. She is board-certified in general surgery
and is specially trained in laparascopic surgery.
The Center for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Videosurgery
is a program of UMDNJ's University Hospital and New
Jersey Medical School. It was established to coordinate
and provide the latest in minimally invasive surgical
and diagnostic techniques offered on UMDNJ’s Newark
campus.
The Center offers a wide range of general surgical
procedures (see Videosurgery Procedures) as well as
videosurgical applications in gynecology, plastic surgery,
orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, obesity management,
and trauma.
