Membership is open to anyone who is interested in the
betterment of University Hospital and is willing to uphold
the Auxiliary’s Mission. Prospective members must
submit their names to the Membership Committee for review
and approval. Once approved, members are required to pay
annual dues of ten dollars.
What's Expected
Auxiliary members are required to
work a minimum of four hours per month (exclusive of
meetings), either in the hospital or on an approved
project. If necessary, a member may be excused from
an assignment by a Board Member.
Members are also expected to attend monthly Auxiliary
meetings. Meeting notices will be sent to all members
by mail. If you need transportation, call the President
at (973) 972-4059.
Committees
Members are invited to participate on one or both of
the following committees:
Membership Committee
Recruits new members and handles administrative duties.
Fund-raising Committee
Designs and coordinates fund-raising
programs and activities such as bus trips, card parties
and Gift Shop work.
Rights and Privileges
Any member in good standing may propose an expenditure
of income or principal for the Board’s approval.
Members in good standing for…
- Two months have the right to vote and to participate
on committees.
- One year are eligible to hold office in the Auxiliary.
