Ms. MacInnes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wheelock College and a Masters degree in Theology from Drew Theological School. A public school teacher in Trenton from 1967 until 1970, Blair became a devoted education volunteer, teaching reading at the Saint Columba School in Newark, where she developed a reading program for grades 4-8. Ms MacInnes is a Founding Trustee, First Chair of the Board of New Jersey SEEDS, and an Honorary Vice Chair. She is a former trustee of Drew University and the Community Foundation of New Jersey. She is also former Chair of the Board of the Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation. Blair ran for New Jersey Senate in 2003 and was New Jersey State Finance Chair for Women for Kerry. She and her husband, Gordon, live in Morristown. Ms. MacInnes was appointed to the University Hospital Board of Directors in March 2007. Her term will expire in 2012. |
